Our Philosophy

We at Third Voice Studio believe that the process of architecture is a
‘Third Voice’ in a conversation between two – the client, or architectural brief; and the site, or space.

Third Voice Studio is grounded by a philosophy that is both modern and timeless.
We take the time to understand the vision of our clients, apply our innovative and modern thinking to the design and ensure that all practical elements are addressed from both an aesthetic and functional perspective.

”It is our philosophy that the interconnection of these three elements; a thorough process of analysis, collaborative work philosophies and integrity of design is explored, the soul of a place is created.”

– Andrew Jefferies, Director

Our Approach

Through an interactive and collaborative approach with all parties, successful architecture lives and breathes. It responds integrally to occupants’ needs and feelings.

Third Voice Studio offers unique design solutions for the built environment through challenging best practice work philosophies, utilising sustainable materials and the native environment, and having an empathy for the needs of our clients. We strive to design spaces that enliven the spirit and centre the soul.

Community

We value our community and the role architecture can play in it and how it can support and develop communities. We As architects we believe that it is our responsibility to respond to our community’s needs and deliver solutions that reflects this. We often work with the not for profit sector and community housing organisations to ensure that extraordinary architecture is available to all walks of life.

Recently we at Third Voice Studio partnered The Twentieth Man Foundation, Director Les Twentyman and Melbourne University School of Architecture fourth year Design Studio to provide a design solution to support homelessness and local community education in the Footscray region of Melbourne.
