“At Third Voice Studio, we believe the architectural process is a
third voice’ in a conversation between the client (or architectural brief) and the site (or space).

Our contemporary architect philosophy is simply stated:
we take the time to understand our clients’ visions then we apply innovativemodern and sustainable architectural design thinking to ensure we address all practical elements from both aesthetic and functional perspectives.

By exploring the interconnection of these three elementsthorough analysis, collaboration and design integrity—we forge the soul of a place.”

– ANDREW JEFFERIES, DIRECTOR

A contemporary architectural practice that puts your project vision first, every step of the way

Third Voice Studio may be a boutique architectural practice but we’re big on taking a personal approach to every project and our client’s dreams and needs.

With years of experience designing everything from architectural design drawings to architectural floor plans, single residential homes to huge commercial developments, we’ve got the know-how and practical expertise to bring your project vision to life.

Our Approach

Since 2007, we’ve been a crucial ‘third voice’ in conversations between our clients and their environments—translating their inspiration in such a way that the finished building perfectly fits the space it occupies and responds to users’ needs and emotions.

We’re focused on developing close working relationships with our clients and supporting them at every step—from initial design conversations to end of build.

Being small means we’re flexible enough to meet your exact needs while ensuring your build blends harmoniously with its surrounding landscape or streetscape. We’re interactive and collaborative in our mission to design spaces that enliven the spirit and ground the soul.

Our Environment, Our Community

Third Voice studio is committed to sustainable architectural design—wherever possible, we use sustainable materials that are kinder to our native environment. We play an active role in our community and use our skills to encourage others to join the conversation about what makes for better communal spaces.

We value role architecture plays in supporting stronger bonds between people. We believe it’s our responsibility to ensure extraordinary architecture is available to everyone—that’s why we often work with Not For Profit and Community Housing organisations.

Third Voice Studio also plays an active role in our community, and when possible will use its skills to encourage others to make a beneficial contribution.

We partnered with The Twentieth Man Foundation Director, Les Twentyman, and Melbourne Uni Architecture’s fourth-year Design Studio to deliver a design solution that supports homelessness and local community education in Footscray.
