Why Use An Architect?  This would have to be one of the most common questions that clients ask when they are first looking to build a home.  With the plethora of kit home buiding services, why would you use an architect?  Well when you consider the benefits, the real question is, why wouldn’t you?

Benefit 1:  You get a design that works specifically for you and your family.

This is definitely not the case when you opt for a pre-designed home.  These homes are provided as is, with only a small number of layout options that you can tweak.  This means that you need to compromise.

Benefit 2:  A good architect adds value to your home.

Your architect has the ability, creativity and flare to build a home that doesn’t look like every other home.  Yours will be designed with you in mind and that of the local market.  For example, why build a two storey home when a one storey in your area is worth more and at a lower build cost?

Just this information alone can add tens of thousands to your home value once built.

Benefit 3:  They can recommend builders and tradespeople in your area that you can trust.  Architects work with a large number of tradespeople and they soon get to know the great ones and will recommend them to their clients as they know that their designs will be created as per plan.

Benefit 4:  They know the documentation and can guide you through the complicated paperwork.

Building your own home comes with a mixed bag of complicated forms and requirements to ensure everything is to code and right for the area in which you build.  An architect can guide you through the process so you know what is required and when.  A failure in this area can lead to long unnecessary delays.

These are just some of the benefits.  If you would like to know more, then get in touch and find out just how we can create a valuable property that is designed with YOU in mind.
